ABOUT BREANNE
Hello, my name is Breanne Bonilla and I am a recent graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. My love for nutrition began when I was curious to learn the true meaning of food freedom. I have a strong love for food, however I struggled to find a healthy balance and relationship with it.

My dietetic journey began after I graduated high school and traveled across Europe. During my time there, I had the pleasure of trying different foods from various countries, and that was the beginning of the end of the diet culture for me. I knew from that point forward, I wanted to dive into the dietetics world and change the way the world views food.

I also learned that culture plays a huge role in how we view food. Growing up in a hispanic household, food was used to celebrate all things. My goal is to spread my knowledge with all types of cultures and communities, and help them find healthier ways in which they can still enjoy cultural foods.

Sports Nutrition Inspiration
My interest in sports nutrition was sparked back in 2020, when I began working as a nutrition coach with Limitless Fitness NJ. As a nutrition coach, I provide nutrition education to members and athletes of different athletic levels, including high school, college, and NFL sports. I share healthy eating tips and basic fundamentals of nutrition via social media, virtual meetings, as well as in person.
During my senior year at the University of Delaware, I had the pleasure of participating in field experience at the Whitney Athletic Center. During my term there, I shadowed and worked alongside sports registered dietitians in providing nutritional information, and distributing healthy snacks to the athletes. These experiences have exposed me to the extremely important role that nutrition plays in the world of sports and athletics.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and trying new foods. I often create my own healthier version of recipes for new foods that I've encountered. I have traveled to over ten different countries thus far, and aim to experience all that the world has to offer, through the eyes of a dietitian.
